Paerata Rise is a masterplanned residential community in Auckland, New Zealand. The conceptual approach retains the rural character of the area by respecting the natural and cultural heritage and working with—not against—the land. A network of open space amenities at various scales support typical rural activities like horseback riding, biking, and walking. An expanded greenway and wetland park connect to the village centre and proposed sports complex. Paerata Rise offers residents a balance between small-town rural life and urban conveniences.
